Has anyone ever heard of this company, apparently this company is JDM and the cam is for a JDM D16/15 non-vtech. it's a stage 2 cam with the lobe centers moved to 109 degrees on the intake and 104 degrees on the exhaust (i may have confused these two). what's the deal with this, does anyone know?

nippon racing makes alot of parts, some under different names. I dont know about there cams, but I think they make some decent stuff. My XTD clutch and flywheel is made by Nippon Racing. Its been good to me for the year Ive had it.

ok, all i needed was to know if anyone had ever even heard of them, I've got two good working motors for my car, and i can swap them if a part destroys one for some reason, hopefully i won't have to do that, i just wanted some opinions before i bought it and installed it,

speaking of pistons, make sure they aren't going to do the opposite of what you want I.E. if you want to go 'no turbo,' make sure they aren't low-compression pistons, even if the box doesn't say that, it happened to me, making like 10-15 less horsepower because of 'oem' pistons that were actuall just low compression crap!

Dont want to thread jack, but rex2nr, how do you like the pistons. I just picked up a set myself. Waiting to bore the block as well.

The look pretty good, but I forgot to check the sizing like you had said you seemed to notice with them. From what I can tell, the set I got is an OEM P29 set. I still need to tear down my block, get it machined, and everything before I'll really know how I like them.

Seen them for years, but never seen anyone use them. I would stay away, a lot of the big companies had regrind cams go flat on them years ago before they go it down just right. Give delta cams or colt cams a call for regrind cams on the cheap. BTW "stage xxxx" means nothing!

I've never seen specs posted for the Nippon cams, it would help their sales if they did.
