Well its been a long road, had some problems getting here but, its done. I finally got painted. I was originaly going to paint Pewter gray but one day I rode by the Acura dealer, and this RSX Type S at the back of the lot just jumped out at me. I rode in for a closer look and knew this was what i wanted. The color is Vivid Blue Pearl. Available on the 05 Civic Si's and RSX Type S.
This color is awesome. When the sun hits it, it just looks incredible. This paint is also pretty expensive but worth it. Well enough type...heres the pics. let me know what you think.
If there are too many pics let me know and ill cut them down.

Dude that is Sweeeeeeeeeet! I saw your Rex at N10 when it was grey and I can't wait to see it in Vivid Blue Pearl at N11! If you don't mind how much did the paint job cost? I'm trying to figure out how much I have to save up. And the dumpster is a nice contrast to the Rex :lol: !

Looks great, I eventually plan on having a blue rex one day. Mazda RX-8 blue to be exact.

Very nice!! I would love to see that color on a stock-bumpered rex. It would be hot!

I googled for hours to see if anyone has painted a rex this color. If you do want the code I have it around here somewhere.

Yeah, I like it that much. I hadn't gone as far as to start looking at particular colors, but I did know I wanted something a slightly darker than the stock Celestial Blue, but not metallic. That fits perfectly. Really nice color, man!

I really like that.... Its hard to tell in a pic.... but from what i have seen that is very very good paint owrk on there..... but good paintwork does not mean squat with out a cool color to spray.... that is NICE man... I really like it,,

The paint looks incredible, man. Great choice. Just out of curiosity, what kind of exhaust tip do you have (I don't know whether or not you have a full system; I just like the subtle look.)?

It really looks like the exact same tip I have, which is just a off-the-shelf piece at the muffler shop that did my OEM replacement muffler.

thats all it is, a $5 tip, that I got free. My oem catback fell apart a week before paint. Its a custom 2 inch aluminized pipe with a turbo muffler. Its a bit raspy for me, but it will do for a while. Cost me $167 installed.

I like that color a lot. Fits the car really well. Day late and a dollar short, if anyone needs paint let me know. I paid $350 for all of my paint (2 qts and 1 pt), hardner, reducer, and clear. It was top line Sherwin Williams. So have you discover how easy it is to keep a blue car clean.......

Hey that looks great man! That color looks pretty dynamic, yet not over the top. Although I'llbet the graphite would have been cool with the NIN plates :wink: (BTW, did you actually cut the front plate to fit your bumper?)

I laid the plate on a concrete step and bent it right at the bottom of the letters and folded it back. I also bent the top back at the top where the stickers go. I dont see why I should have to damage MY bumper to comply with a law. Its there, its visible, its done.

I had a blue chevy so I'm prepared for the cleaning, still not as bad as it was when the car was glossy black.

BTW- To those interested a new NIN album is due out May 3rd. Ive got an advance copy and its a sweet album. Its called -- With Teeth --.

I also suggest Family Guy - Live in Las Vegas. 8)

Its a freakin awesome cd. I remember rockin out to NIN when I was in the 6th grade. Awesome that hes still puttin out good music after so long.
