Just make sure the race gas is unleaded. Octane booster does work, but the amount you buy from auto parts stores is far too small to make a noticeable difference. Read this.
Premium (non-race) gas can be found around here as high as 95 octane. According to the above, mixing that with 30% Xylene would give you 102.5 octane fuel.
It's unleaded here I believe. The best pump gas I can get her in Washington is 92. Most guys appear to add a 5 gal can of race fuel to their tank when they change the tuning for race. A lot apparently has to do with how you have your engine tuned. Some even run 12.5 to 1 on pump gas with the propper tuning.
I just got the Hondata s200 with modified p28 ecu and will try to see what I come up with at the dyno.
