OEM replacement floormats

Hey guys. I'm currently in contact with the person on ebay that sells the nice custom-made floormats for 84-87 and 88-91 CRX's (two different styles of mat). They currently sell for $49.99 US plus an optional $12.00 if you want the CRX logo embroidered onto them.

If I am able to negotiate a lower price, would any of you guys be interested?

84 - 87 Mats

88 - 91 Mats (bad example...wrong generation embroidered logo)

These are the two different mat styles. They also have the 2nd gen CRX logo available for embroidery. The other possibility would be to provide them with the CRXCommunity.com logo for embroidery...just an idea. :)

They have a number of colour choices for carpet colour, however, the two closest colours to the original colours of the OEM mats are GRAPHITE 94 and MIDNIGHT BLUE 32.

depending on how much the price dropped i might be interested. I would probably get them if i had not busted my window out.
Ok...i just talked with the floormats person, and he is unwilling to do a Group Buy because he doesn't feel it would allow him to offer the kind of "one on one" customer service that he likes to provide. However, I did manage to convince him to sell them to us for a slightly cheaper price. He is tentatively setting the price at $44.99 US for mats without logos (your choice of carpet colour and edging colour), or $54.99 with the logos (your choice of carpet colour, edging colour, and logo embroidery colour). Shipping would be $10.00 US within the United States. Still waiting on a shipping rate for Canada.
I know of these folks (they live about 10 miles from me) and was instrumental in getting them to make the second gen logo. I convinced several folks to buy them. Did I get a discount or anything for bringing themm hundreds of dollars of business? Nope.

And forget the crap about not doing a group buy in order to keep personal service. They simply don't make them. They place the order with a manufacturer who drop ships them with their name on the return address. I could not find out who the manufacturer is.

Eventually Honda will get on them for trademark infringement as they have other companies that embroider mats. Unlike Ford and others, Honda is pretty restrictive about their trademarks. They threatened to sue a auto shop in town that specializes in Hondas for using the name "Hondamotive".

Anyway, I am happy with my purchase except that the mat tends to slowly creep forward until the top flops over. No big deal. Look nice.

If we can figure out who the manufacturer is, maybe we can get them directly from the source :)
That's what I was going to do. The box had no indication of the manufacturer though. :(

Hmmm...how was it shipped? Trackable? You should be able to find the address of where it *really* came from through the shipping company.
I would be interested in a set. I have been watching them for a while on Ebay. I was going to ask for them for fathers day.

Hey Krix, what hapened to your window?
I could not find out anything and I no longer have the box.
I'm looking around at several companies on the net that can make custom floormats. It looks like there is a lot of options out there. I'm going to email a couple tonight to see if I can get more information about their pricing as well.
I may have found a company that can make a comparible product to the ones mentioned at the beginning of this post. I'm inquiring about becoming a distributor.

They offer a wider selection of carpet colours, stitching colours, optional logo embroidery, and optional vinyl heel pads for the driver's side mat.

Since I do a lot of graphic design, I'm almost certain that I could do a better job with the logos than any of the ones that are already out their in the market already.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Ten miles you say ... sounds close enough to justify a late-night dumpster dive. 8)

They've got to have some outer packaging or paperwork that'd give up the manufacturer name or address.

Oops, did I say that out loud?
I bought the floormats that Bryman was selling at N10 last year. Yeah, they have the 1st gen logo, but they look good. I'd only be interested in new ones if they were a close replica of the original mats, with the stripe and logo. I'd definitely buy some then.
my fool self accidently busted out the window trying to put a molding in. Live and learn....too bad the learning costs you money.

That's the deal. They drop ship them from the manufacturer. It never hits their location. All they have to do is take the orders.

Your still going to make it to N11 right?

As soon as I saw this post it reminded me of your post on crxh-p. I would like a set too since my carpet is perfect but I am missing the mats and want to keep the carpet perfect.
Im still going to N11. Im in the process of hunting down a window at a decent price. Ive found a few for about $100 but thats too high for me. For $100 I can almost buy a new one, or get lexan for both sides.

Ive got some other people im waiting on to get me a price too.
if you need a door window i have both sides. but then again i dont trust shipping it... its up to you, 20 + shipping its yours.
thanks for the offer, but im in need of the driverside quarter glass. thanks though.
