I was in a bit of a rush, so I didn't have time to take pictures and do a proper job at the same time.

The instal is really straightforward, but there are a few things to take into account.

First:
You have to mount them....upside down!
The thing's not symmetrical, and the curvature of the underside sits way nicer with the underside of the car than the top side. Mounting it the "proper" way, would have them flare out too much.

The skirt has a long wide ledge, like the inside of a lip, with the mounting tabs. I took a big hacksaw, and had to cut that all off. I tried keeping the flat bottom look, but it pulls on the skirts, will collect dirt and water (!!) and will hinder the jack points. So gone with it. Keep an inch and a half of space to cut it from the edge or it will look odd. No more, or you'll have a hard time putting the screws in.

After measuring, measuring measuring and more measuring, you carefully cut the skirts to length. Carefully decide wich side to shorten, and will look the best.

You know, when you cut a hollow piece of plastic, it looks like poop on the side. So I traced the shape on a piece of excess plastic, cit it out, and melted it into the side of the skirt to close the sides off again.

Next is to simply jack up the car, and CAREFULLY use SHORT self-tapping stainless screws in the bottom plastic on the car. Make sure it sits absolutely flush, because you only have 1 shot.

To be honest, I'm not gonna pretend it's a big and fancy job. I paid 35 bucks for the sides and treated them accordingly, while still doing my car justice.

I have a second set that looks nicer than these. (less scuffs)
When my car is getting painted, I'm taking off the original skirt plastic, and pop-rivet the skirts to it, and try to keep more material, to keep the flat bottom look. It looks a little bit off from some angles in my opinion.
But hey...40 bucks for skirts and mounting stuff. How can ya go wrong?

Here's the pics I shot real quick.

nice work, looks great!

i like how you said "the pics I shot real quick". They look great with different interesting angles and are clear and bright. I probably couldn't take pics like that if I took all afternoon. anyways, nice! 8)

Thanks guys.

The pictures I took just after washing the car. If you look closely you can still see the foam in a spot or 2 :)
It was cold, lighting sucked, and I want a new camera. So I didn't really put in my best effort.

Allan, I believe this is a pakpfeiffer hood.
Quality is terrible BTW. It's going to need a whole lot of attention this summer when the car is getting some paint.
