So like I posted before, I was having problems getting my car to rev beyond 4000 RPM, I'm pretty sure it was a timing issue. I fixed it and I was checking it and when I expected to hit the limiter around 7200, it kept going. I let off the pedal immediately but it was damn close to 8000 RPM. I thought the stock limiter on a P28 was 7200, just like the PM6. Is this wrong or is it possible I have a wiring issue?

inadequecies of the stock tach at high rpm.....my tach always went over 8000 but datalogging showed the ecu stopping at 7200-7300

It always stopped at 7200 on the tach before, with the A6 and PM6.

I thought the redline for the D16Z6 was like 7500... and the fuel cut beyond that. I know the redline for the CRX Si is at 6500, but the computer doesn't cut fuel until something like 7200. I could be wrong though...

The A6 redline is 6800 on the tach with fuel cut at 7200.

Nah... The redline on the cluster is at 7000, the fuel cut is at 7200.

hmmm... I seem to remember redline at 6500 and fuel cut always being right around 6800 for A6's.
