Part difference between Civic and CRX?

I'm installing a pillar gauge pod, and I need to know if the whole piece for the pillar is the same on CRX and civic. I have a civic parts car with that piece so I can drill holes in it. I don't wanna drill holes in my regular piece if I don't have to.

Nope...not the same. The civic piece is longer than the CRX one. I know this because I installed a 88-91 civic gauge pod in my CRX and I had to trim about 2.5" off the length to make it fit right.
