pedal bracket
has anyone experienced their pedal bracket breaking? mainly between the clutch pedal and the brake pedal. im just wondering b/c someone told me that i have to drop the steering column so i can get it out and re-weld it.

I've already got a squeaky setup with the clutch, which I'm hoping is a loose bolt but have yet to have the time to sit down and investigate.
Breaking the pedal is a common problem when people beef up their clutches to Heavy Duty or Extreme pressure plates. I've heard of people just welding it back together. I'm sure you could weld extra metal in there to make sure that it never happens again.
