I'm only 25 minutes away so picking it up would be simple, the body and taillight scare me but it is pretty cheap and timing belt is an easy fix.......plus I'd have to check the valves since they often get bent if the timing belt breaks......$300 right now and I'm curious what u guys would think is a reasonable price for this car. $400-$500 I think I'd consider it.......but i wanna see what u guys think first

I think you should be wary of other CRX shoppers in Ohio right now.....

IDK looks alright to me, would need a good deal of work, but for the price it seems fair

btw im just kidding, im not gonna bid on that.

well the thing to remember is that I'm not looking for resale value or anything like that. I just want a cheap car. And although it would take some work to get the body and interior into shape, If the motor is fairly simple to fix it seems ok to me........do u guys see any major problems that should hold me back from paying a few hundred for it?and what would be the most u would pay for it....$400?.....$450 sound reasonable?

salvage title on an old broken down crx really does not matter one bit as far as resale is concerned. . . that car is worth about the same amount of money for parts or project either way. . . .

would be great to have around. . i would snag it up for 300 bux. . . . i would make sure you went and looked at it though . .. the guys feedback sucks. . . . and it is low and he never really sold on ebay. . . just bought. . .

but you are close so no big deal . . .just go look at it in person. .

it looks pretty beat. . . and riced and beaten on. . . .but depending on what you want it for .. . . it might be one heck of a deal .

In that case, I'd say go check it out in person before bidding and see exactly what shape it is in. There's less than a day left. You'll then be able to see how much you'd feel comfortable paying. If there's tons of stuff that's going to need repaired (stuff like exhaust, brakes, tires, etc. add up fast)...I'd say no more than $400. Also, I'd say a salvage title is something to consider, whether or not you plan to sell in the future. It does effect the worth of the car and how much you should pay. If you're looking for something cheap, this is probably it.

well the more and more I thought about it........I almost can't buy it......there is no way I would buy a car in that sort of condition without seeing it in person and the auction will end before I get home tomorrow......so unless he doesnt sell it and I just happen to see it..... no deal........I've been looking for a fairly cheap crx since july and I think I'm prepared more and more each month for the fact that I'm gonna have to buy a beater like this and have some work ahead of me because a few monthes ago I probably wouldnt have even considered this. My funds wont allow me to get a mint crx or anything so I'm really just looking for a second gen that I could get running reliable for less than a grand........so I'm still looking I guess........Just hope I can find something before my 1st gen dies or else it will be back to the school bus

just a couple of questions

does it run at all and if not do u know what is wrong with it?

and can u post some pics anytime soon?......I'm not in a huge hurry but I'd like to see what I'd be getting myself into before u go and get my hopes up haha

You're a bit further away so unless it's an easy fix with the motor.......Dont be getting too happy about a sale yet haha
