He's the guy behind the TV shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly, as well as last year's movie Serenity. It's not really life-changing stuff, but it's funny and witty, and sometimes quite intelligent. They're all shows that I never saw a single episode of when they were originally aired, but I got hooked on all of them in reruns. And Serenity (the big-screen continuation of the Firefly series) was the most fun I've had at a sci-fi movie since the original Star Wars came out.
