I want to use a 400watt continuous inverter. It comes with clamps to use off the battery. I am just going to use it to charge up my laptop and my daughters gameboy. Can I just wire it to use a cigg lighter adapter?

I would hard wire it to the battery with some heavier gauge wire and a fused circut.... i think you will be safer that way... i am going to be using a 100 watt inverter in my sol for my computer and still am going to wire it to the battery

if its at your cig light you will probly get some ground interferance in you radio from, it
