I've seen professional sports mascots jumping around on those things. They are cool, but I don't see me spending $425 for them.

Since they increase your stride length, I wonder how much faster/farther you can run with them on?

i'm sure the military is develping something like those for foot soldiers to increase range with minimal force output.
i'm sure it'd be like owning a segway, everyone would look at you wierd but may want one themselves. (not that i ever owned one)
