From the '89 brochure,
"The Honda CRX has twice been named Import Car of the Year by Motor Trend magazine.
In 1989, the winning tradition continues. With a line of cars so advanced, they are virtually in a class by themselves.
The CRX look is low and lean. Superb aerodynamic styling promotes efficiency, visibility and performance.
An aluminum alloy, fuel-injected engine develops enough horsepower to move you through space at an ispiring rate of speed.
Race-proven double wishbone suspension handles the power and the road.
With all this and more, it's going to be tough for others to measure up to the Honda CRX."

The Honda CRX is the perfect car for fun fanatics.
Under the hood lies a 16-valve, single overhead cam, 1.5 liter, fuel-injected engine. Quite a mouthful. Quite a handful, too.
Just point the CRX in the right direction. And you'll be having a blast in no time flat.
Double wishbone suspension at all four wheels helps you handle curves. And anything else the road puts down.
A large front stabilizer bar and rack-and-pinion steering also do their part for performance. And, just in case you'd rather stop than go, there are power-assisted, ventilated front disc and rear drum brakes.
Honda's smooth-shifting 5-speed manual transmission is standard. For those who prefer an automatic, a 4-speed transmission with electronically controlled lockup torque converter is available.
The CRX is designed for fun. It is also designed for cargo. So, whether you bike, camp, or surf, it's more than happy to carry the load.

(Pictures of a black CRX Si and a close up of the sunroof)

Everybody loves a winner.
Few cars can compete with the CRX Si's award-winning formula.
This two-seater looks racy. And it is. A 16-valve, programmed fuel-injected, 1.6 liter engine produces 108 horses. That's a lot of horses.
While the CRX suspension is tuned for the streets, it is based on the race-proven double wishbone design. This suspension system makes the Si handle like no other car in its class.
Together with front and rear stabilizer bars and performance-oriented radial tires on 14-inch alloy wheels, the suspension helps even out uneven roads for a comfortable ride.
The CRX Si is loaded in more ways than one. A power-operated sunroof that slides back without reducing headroom is standard. So is an adjustable steering column, a digital quartz clock, rear window wiper/washer and defroster with timer.
A power sunroof with wind deflector, standard on every CRX Si, is designed to brighten your day.
