quarter mile times and hp estimates

I need everyone that can to post up their quarter mile times and their hp estimates (please specify flywheel ph or wheel hp). There's a discussion on my chevy forum about cars, hp to weight ratios and funness of driving experience.

They're hating on cars with 1:10 ratios, but my arguement is that a 2000 lb 200 hp crx is more fun to drive anyday than a 4000 lb 400hp car. At least in a road course...

PLus, some smartass said that a 10 lh per hp car coldn't do better than 15 sec sin the quarter. SO help me out...

I would have had about 220-250WHP with a slipping clutch, and I ran a 14.014 @ 104mph.
You can always make more power, but you can't make up for a fatty car. Think about braking and cornering too, heavy cars will eat up brakes and tires if they are performing anywhere close to as well.

Matt's car is right around 200hp, don't know if he's dragged it, but it feels damn fast!

He's either very misinformed or just fooling around because a car with a 10:1 ratio should do mid 13's. Check it out for yourself on the following link put together by yours truly.
