for any guys with an amp in their crx what did you use for your remote wire... i dont know if its just my HF or every crx but theres no power antenna wire so whats an other option for the remote wire

the remote wire should be coming out of the deck. i think the one on my pioneer deck is blue, not sure if its a universal color though. Just match the size of wire and extend it to where the amp is.

There's a difference between power antenna and remote connections - the remote wire is on whenever the head unit is on, the power antenna wire only comes on when the radio is on. If you use the power antenna connection for an amp, your sub will only work when you're listening to the radio... Not CDs or aux in or whatever. If you don't have a dedicated remote connection on your head unit, just splice into the headunit's switched power. That way the amp will shut off when you switch off the ignition.

that was a real dumb question of me... i dont know what i was thinking
