Hi all,

I want to replace the seats in my HF (actually, I need to replace them since duct tape is holding some of the driver seat together) and was wondering what suggestions people have for the replacement seats, or what you have done in your car.

I don't think I want to replace them with better condition HF seats, they're kinda soft and not too comfortable. Downest suggested del sol seats, which are nice but I have had a harder time tracking down a pair in our general area that is not torn (or doesn't smell of dog).

I also looked online at the "cheaper" sporty bucket seats, which looked relatively nice, but I'm a little hesitant to buy seats i've never sat in. Anyone have similar seats they can comment on?

Another option would be to get replacement seats from an Si.

Ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks!

Check out the local re-upholstery shop and see what they'd charge you for re doing you seats. Should be able to get an estimate for free.... May be cheaper than trying to find "good" and cheap seats.

I don't advise the del-sol seats if you use the crx pans on them.....

I had an 89 hf with good HF seats and never found a problem with them.

They were and still are more comfortable than my dx seats. Si seats aren't bad but have never spent enough time in them.

Just a suggestion. A good set of seats are a good set of seats... uh huuh

Si, EF8, or EF9(SiR) seats will all fit nicely, but it also depends on what year of CRX you have and whether or not you have pillar or door mounted seatbelts... Then swapping seatpans will be in order, its not a major ordeal, but its not really tough either...I think crxsquared has done it a few times...

Thanks to rex2nr, I've got a prestine Si driver's seat next to a pristine HF passenger seat!! Kinda funny looking :D and much more comfortable.

(The driver's seat is pristine after a pan swap and seat back swap)

Thanks again for the seats!!
