Heading to Newport NC for a few days, then over to Raleigh area the day after Thanksgiving for a few days.

Newport is about 35 miles East of Jacksonville, right along the coast. Mom and Stepdad moved there last year. I'll be arriving in Newport Tuesday the 22nd in the pm.

If anyone on this board lives in either one of these areas and is interested in meeting up, PM me your phone # and the area you live in along with your first name. It would be cool to meet up.

I'll be driving my 89 y49 CRX with 65,000 original miles. Voted best stock 2 years in a row at the Niagara CRX Meet. Im not sure I deserved it last year as there were a lot of mint CRX's. Must be the y49 thing.

9 hours...528 miles from Newport NC to Atlanta. Maybe next year if I do a Florida trip.

If my Miata wasn't so uncomfortable [sp], I'd be driving it to NC.

I'll be driving down to the Winston-Salem area on Tuesday as well - I-95, I-85 and I-40. The odds are slim, but I'll keep an eye out... I'm driving my '91 Celestial Blue DX.

I live in Mocksville and commute to Winston-Salem almost everyday in my Baltic Blue/gray panel two-tone '85 CRX Si which has 213,4xx original miles and would probably be voted "most persistant use of orignal factory paint" (let's just say it's faded on top) I'll be at school Tues. morning, at work by the afternoon, karate class by dark, and making my way home during the evening...doubt any of you will see me but I run up and down Silas Creek contantly. Arrived here in Newport NC yesterday afternoon. 37 mpg . It rained almost the whole trip.

Went to the self serve car wash this morning. My mom thinks im nuts.

I had a new timing belt and water pump installed on Sunday. It was still the original belt.

Hahaha, you gotta love those low mileage rexes. I just changed my original belt and pump a couple weeks ago too. Glad you made it down ok.

I'm sitting at 89,700 right now. It's my daily driver. Two and a half years ago it had 39,000.
