Does anyone know if the rocker panels from the 88-91 civic fit on my 89 crx dx? I have a line on several if they will work.

Please hurry, I can hear the rust eating at her right now. Its sad. Kind of like Old Yeller with rabies.

The rockers are not identical, but they can be scavenged for usable bits.

I think the entire front end for the civic and the crx was the same for 88-91 from the windshield forward.

LOL and you are again. SOme does some doesnt but we are talking rocker panels which has nothing to do with the front.

Also is that a rocker off a hatch it looks close but the length will be off like sais you might be able to use pieces to patch areas up or just go find the crx one and replace the whole thing. Yours is probably completely shot right??

Basically just the hood and headlights from a Civic hatch will fit a CRX.

Well...mechanically it's also almost identical. A crx front end will bolt up without any problems. In broad lines, it is the same.

Also, speaking of welding, the rear arches that everybody is welding into his crx...are really civic arches. Takes a keen eye, but there is a subtle difference.

Pretty damn close. The idiot who owned it before me decided 2 1/2 inche wood screws were the top notch mod! Since there are about 5 in each piece of molding on both sides. :evil:
