The motores in the si's taht are 1.6L are those consindered a zc motor because a car im looking at is i think a 90 or 91 and the owner says he thinks its a zc cuz the guy who owned it before him said it was i was just wondering about that and where too look on the block or anywhere to find out for sure. Look on the left hand side of the block near the tranny, and the engine code will be there. It should say d16a6, but if it is a zc, it will just say zc.

Correct.
The Zc is a motor that was NOT available to us in the US.
A stock CRX Si motor is stamped d16a6.

And don't be tricked. There is 2 kinds of ZCs. A SOHC and a DOHC. The SOHC is a D16a6 with a better cam, and DOHC ZC is a one of a kind engine that is a D16 with DOHC. Just throwing some more info your way without going into details.
