Well, we went to New Hampshire today and picked up that HF. It's in pretty good condition, almost all stock except an Si bumper/lip. The new owner is a member here who doesn't post... maybe he will reply to this. We are going to go over it tomorrow or monday and take care of all the little things that need to be done.
This is the first time I've driven and looked closely at a stock HF. It wasn't as slow as I thought, and really the only terrible thing is the noise inside, but that may be the specific car. I did learn something about my car though! I never knew there's a light in the back on the passnger side. There's always a stray plug back there when I pull the panels out, and I never knew what it went to. I think I even posted about it once and nobody could help me. I didn't know it was a light because I'm missing all the other plastics too. Something to look for at the junkyard. Also, the guy he bought it from was big into CRXs, this was his 5th, but he doesn't have another at the moment. He let me know about a junkyard in NH with good parts, including a couple of first gens! Anyway, I'm tired, more to come tomorrow.
btw that intake on the HF is smaller than you read about! I was amazed that it could run with that thing!

Si lip and bumper? The HF came standard with the same lip as the Si. Only the DX was lipless. The only real difference between the Si and HF frontend is that the HF bumper has less reinforcement inside (less weight) and is only rated for a 2.5mph crash as opposed to a 5mph crash for the DX and Si bumpers.
