well looks like it wasn't my driveshaft, i changed it, and i was going to my company dinner last night, i get about 10 miles from home, all of a sudden the car starts jearkingj, jumping, and popping like crazy, real quick it feels like the clutch went out, pop, then it goes, now i can put it in every gear and it won't move, i can put it IN gear, its not the clutch, ao i am guessing my trans is bad, what do you think?>

It takes a big man to break the trans. But your symptoms can be explained by a bad clutch as well. You can engage gears, but ut won't have enough friction left to move the car.

the clutch is an act replacement and it only has about 6000 miles on it, i never abused it, but why would it feel like poping in the steering knuckle?

Could be that the pressure plate teeth have popped over the main bearing.

i am hoping its just the clutch, but i don't understand how the clutch could make the entire front end pop and pull like that

Bad differentail / cracked spider gears maby. Had one go bad in my girls old DA, felt like a bad cv shaft. :?

i had a bad diff do the same thing, sounded like a bad drive shaft untill one day at the track it finally let go BOOM ,took out the whole tranny
