Too be honest you would find more help on Honda-Tech.

Be prepared to spend alot of money on a good kit. You'll have too if you want it to be reliable. If you don't wanna spend don't expect high quality parts/long life out of your setup. And remember, with boost, TUNING is key. Be prepared to spend a few hundreds on the dyno time. You'll want to anyways so you can show your graph to us :p . I can help you as much as I can I've helped on a few turbo setups including some that reached 700whp.

That civic looks rough. Less rusty then mine so I ain't saying anything. Looks like a decent turbo setup. I really don't like how that throttle cable is setup with the manifold.

Nice setup...First that D now the B.....
Couple of questions, how well did the internal wastegate of the GT25 work? Ive heard you an get better reults from an external wastegate at low boost levels like 6-9psi...
And if you had a choice, GT25 or GT28
And, at what rpm did the turbo start to spool.

I want to turbo a y8/a6 mini me, and cant decide between the gt25 or gt28.

Internal wastegate worked fine. external is always better, but i had no issues.

my turbo IS a GT28.....its kinda complicated GT28R = GT2560R. If I had to get a turbo now Id geta GT28RS ot a GT3071.

I hit full boost (15psi) at high 3k rpm.

which exact turbos are you looking at?

sadly enough i dont have any pictures of my setup

it was a stock z6 with hf manifold, tdo4 mitsu turbo welded together. stock internal wastegate. which i had some problems with.

i tuned it myself with turbo edit.
dyno showed [email protected]

i picked up a b16 motor and trans, quaife and a turbo set up for a b so im switching everything over this spring and going obd1 and tuning with either crome or neptune.

azulito has abuilt zc turbo
im pretty sure ollie has a d turbo also

Well, Ive lost the link for the garret turbos for $775 on the honda-tech marketplace.....Damn. The turbo I was looking at was the GT28RS and another GT28xxx Im not sure which one it was as I was going by the list on honda-tech and hadnt looked at the specs for them yet... But if you were hitting boost in upper 3k then I guess a GT28RS isnt to big.....Only running 6-9psi anyway shouldnt be bad, IM just worried about boost creep on that size turbo with an internal wastegate. (still have LOTS of research to do) Just looking for a good turbo that will work good with in low boost, but still be good for higher boost levels...

:edit: Im an idiot... its a GT2871R
After seeing this here, (where I also found you lol) I would say this is the one Im going with...
