Hello Community
Tried to start the car but fuel pump has a short.
Ecu still has solid CEL no codes can be pulled.

Just hoping someone could point to the most common causes of a solid CEL after a swap.
I 2ble check wiring but cant find anything out of place.
I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

Any help is appreciated.

No friends around with P28s to test my ecu.馃槶馃槶馃槶

the ecu doesnt has any burnt spots or funky smells.
Its a D16y8.
I found ground in the fuel pump power wire. Its coming off later on.

If the ecu is fried I will rather convert it to OBD2A. no $$ chipping or tuning just to get the same stock power. I just want the engine's stock performance.
The B2 was worn out and the combustion chambers were out of specs, so I decided to swap it.

Any chance you know what is a common cause of failure?
I will be re checking all wiring again Before going obd2.

Just an update.
After a more detailed inspection of the Mother Board C21decided to spring a leak.
So now I need to replace all caps.
