my dad owned this crx before he sold it to me cheap and the fact is for as long as he or I have owned it it has had this problem. sometimes on cool damp days if u run the car for a while and then turn it off it wont start up again. It usually doesn't effect me but the few occasions where it does just suck. I honestly cant remember if we changed the distributor or not but I know we changed most of the fairly easy electrical components such as plug wires, plugs, that kind of stuff. what makes it hard to fix is that the problem doesnt happen very often cuz conditions have to be pretty specific for it to not start. so it's not a major deal if I can't figure it out but it would be nice to not have to think about that.

yeah, my car did that too. i just replaced the rotor, dizzy cap and plug wires. when it wouldn't start on very cold damp days i would put a space heater on the dizzy and then after several minutes the car would start.

my guess is you had too much water vapor in your dizzy. put on a new cap and rotor and make sure you oil the new gasket so it seals well. sometimes wd40 on the plug wires will supress any water soaking into them.
