I've actually gotten two speeding tickets when listening to Rage Against the Machine. When the officer asked if I knew how fast I was going I told him that I had no idea because I was listening to Testify by Rage...It ended up being 97mph.

Wow, someone else who listens to Rush! That's one of my favourite Rush songs... I have all the albums and a couple of DVDs (Rio, R30), they are an amazing group, and they have a lot of other songs that I love driving to!

Techno. Loud techno makes me want to crank up the volume and redline everywhere. I've been working to control these urges, because I really do like to listen to techno in my car, and being an obnoxious driver all the time just cant do.

I have The Crystal Method's Tweekend on the XBox and I listen to it when I play Forza... and in the CRX. It's good driving music, some is aggressive, but some is pretty chilled out.

I'm a huge techno fan myself, but I don't usually share the tracks on these lists. Most of it is too hard to find, except for the mainstream. You'll never find the good stuff on something like iTunes. Right now I've got about 180 techno tracks on my mp3 player, some of them as long as 11 minutes, but the average is probably 6-7 mins.

I'm also looking forward to Forza 2. Gran Turismo 3 and Grand Theft Auto 3 were the only reasons I bought a PS2, to this day my PS2 collection is just 5 games (GT3 & GT4; GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas) With GTA4 coming to 360, I've decided that I'm not buying a $600 PS3 just for GT5, so I'll have to get my motoring fix elsewhere. PGR3 and Forza 2 should fit the bill nicely. :wink:
