so i guess the spark plug wires are different between the a6 and z6. cant get the ones from my a6 to fit. whats the best option here? if i have to get a new set of plugs, i'd like to get after market ones. what are my options?

I just got a set of NGK wires a couple weeks ago. They're silicone, relatively cheap (~$55) and seem to be OEM quality. The only problem is that they're bright blue... Now I have to go find some other bling'n part to make them blend in. Maybe a blue anodized oil cap. The 'Z6 uses part no. HE76.

is that a z6 or y8? cuz mine dosnt say VTEC

BTW, clean engine bay. thats my next project.

A 'Z6 from a '93 Civic EX. You can always switch out the valve cover.
