Stock Wheel Size?

OK I need new rims and tires so I was thinking of going for the oem sizes. I think that the oem size of the tire is 185/60R14? The stock rim size would be 14" x 5? Or maybe I am way out to lunch...

Or should I not go for the original size at all?

You'll be fine with the OEM size.
185/65/14

BTW, i found some nice, clean headlights.
You never told me for sure if you wanted them or not or gave me what you would be willing to pay, so i didn't scoop them up.
Shipping to Canada via USPS would be around $45 because of destination and weight of the lights(being they are glass).
OK can I see some pictures of them?

Of the lights?

Read what i said above....
I'm not gonna grab them on the whim that you might want them, especially if i don't know what kind of price you were looking at paying.
The lights were nice, brackets were in nice shape, not rusted, glass was not broken or cracked and were crystal clear.
oh **** nvm then sorry for not telling you. I think I might have found my buying however so i guess it's no loss.
If you want stock size wheels, I'd say pick up some used sawblades or teardrops (88-89 or 90-91 stock Si wheels). If you're going for aftermarket wheels, I'd go for a 15x7 wheel, with a 195 or 205-50R15 tire. Hope this helps.
K I went to a local tire/wheel store and they have 14" after market wheels for like $35 each. So I think I might go with those. However for tires I don't know everywhere seems to have high prices. I might just go with some used ones for like $35 each and be done with it.

Buying used tires is like putting $5 worth of gas into your tank. If it's all the money you have, it will get you by for awhile...but you're just going to have to spend more money all that much sooner. If you want to do it cheap, find someone selling some Honda wheels with tires with decent tread already mounted (that part right there will save you 60 bucks), that way you don't even have to set foot in a tire shop, just jack the car up and do it yourself.
Yea your right, I should go with new tires. Then at least they would be have some sort of warranty on them. I think I will go with those after market wheels though.

I would buy a set from someone but I am in short supply of time and it would take awhile to find someone in my area who is selling what I am looking for.

Oops, well that is what is on the my car when it sports 14's, 185/65.
I went back to the guy that did my inspection to clearify some things. I will need to get a new set of corner lights with an amber lens and a reflector.

I also got a quote on wheels and tires from the same place (KalTire) and for 14" mag wheels with tires he says $200 a corner.

I also asked about the wheels being wrong application. He said that the wheels where Ford, so they dient fid on the car right. That I can understand...

He also said that in "his book" it said that the car came with 13" wheels. So w/e I am still getting 14" or 15"'s don't care wtf he says.

I think I am just going to find like the cheapest wheels and tire I can get and just use them for the winter.

Your "guy" is wrong! what does it matter what size rims you have on your car? Who cares if the wheels came from a Ford, as long as they fit correctly. What about ppl that put aftermarket 17" rims on their cars, or even wheels from another car manufacturer? It should not matter as long as they are on correctly and are safe.
What rims are on your car anyway?

FInd some stock corner lights & take your car somewhere else to get inspected because it sounds like you're getting hosed.
In a hurry the place I am going to call closes in 45 mins so please reply fast!

Does a 89 crx wheel fit on a 90 crx???
yes

Basically ANY Honda rim with a 4x100 bolt pattern will fit your Crx.
K thanks, I think I can get some mag wheels off of a 89 crx for cheap... Then I can buy some quality tires with the money I saved on wheels!
Why can't you use the wheels that are on your car now?
I have seen ppl put VW wheels on their Honda, what difference does it make what car manufacurer's wheels are on it? As long as they are on correctly and the tires are good.
