Wow, I agree. All someone would have to do is call the Kansas police tell them to run the plates and check the nearest Freight Harbor for a Report about Stolen goods. If that checks out that would more than likely be just cause for a warant to search that dudes house. LOL What a moron indeed.

The kid IS an idiot, but I don't know why people care so much...are you so bored with your life that you have to report petty crimes that you read about on the Internet? 
Not to mention, you have no way of knowing if any of it is the truth, or if people are who they claim online. Anybody here that was pissed off at me could search for pictures of my car that I've posted, start a new account on a forum using my name and pictures, and then "brag" about doing something illegal. Anybody that saw it would have exactly as much "proof" as the people on the link did, and I'd be dealing with cops and warrants and all sorts of ****.
For that reason, I wonder how seriously police would take information like that. Sure, if it's about a murder or car theft (in some places, anyway) or arson they would appreciate any info, but if I got weak information on the theft of a couple of hundred bucks worth of tools from the cheapest ghetto tool store around, I don't think I'd put it at the top of my to-do list as a cop.
Not to mention, you have no way of knowing if any of it is the truth, or if people are who they claim online. It's pretty much traditional to screw people for bragging about stealing on car forums.
How would you feel is some tard went on a car forum and bragged about getting some free "car parts" that maybe you or someone you knew actually owned. It's exactly the same thing but no one cares because it's "just" a few sockets from a ghetto store. If it was car parts (even worth less than some sockets) that were being bragged about everybody and their brother on this site would be calling for the kid to be hanged by his balls in a public place.
Please remember what Mark got done against the kid who made a threat against a police officer on the resource.
There are also many instances in which legel action has been taken as a result of threads made on honda-tech.
Kids that steal from stores will most likely be the type that would steal your tools or your car parts as well. Hell this kid knowingly received stolen property. He would probably buy a known stolen swap as well.

Heres the thing ryan, I bet you would jump on that kid's arse if that stuff belonged to you. Or would you just ignore it because it was seen on some honda thread. What if there's more to it... what if this isn't the first time its been done and maybe they link this to other times in the past. Hopefully someone would turn some ass in that steals your crap some day so you don't go without.

The fact that some of us are "ok" with stealing stuff is acceptable as long as it's not you is disturbing. I don't think there is such a thing as a Clean Crime. What I mean is someone will all ways be held responsible, wether the criminal gets away with the crime or not. It may look like a small $300, but to the Manager/Owner/Company it shows a lack of proffesionalism/responsiblity to hire/maintain reputable employees. Cheap or low quality aside it is someones way of living. As liberal as this sounds stealing is essentialing taking food out of other peoples mouth.
Just a side note I don't always follow these rules. I occasionally "download" certain things, but muscians just spend all there money on drugs anyway. LOL j/k

there is no possible way to keep "reputable employees" you are always going to have someone who has the mindset that it doesn't hurt anyone. take me for example i am a shift manager at wendys (don't laugh it keeps my rex going) and it doesn't matter what time of day it is or who the empoyee is i can always catch one of our employees eating fries or, scarfing on mandms or even stealing pop from the machine. it is virtualy impossible to not have at least one bad egg at each store in the world. given i do take stuff like that but hey my meals are free anyway so it really doesn't matter the only thing that can be said to me is HEY....... um you better punch that in when you do you manager mealDmitriy said:

Eating a french fry, using a paperclip from work, is all considered "employment benefits". If you start selling the paperclips you take from work it's a whole different story.
