I'm getting the code 22 CEL for VTEC pressure switch again! I have plenty of oil, and continuity on both wires. Should I replace the switch? Does anyone have one?
It doesn't come on until VTEC should be coming on. When it's unplugged it will throw the code when the car is started, but it doesn't do it until I have the car warmed up and get up to the VTEC crossover point.

Matt sent me a whole VTEC solenoid, known good and seemed to work ok... but then I got another CEL! Wiring checked again, and it's fine, and the oil is just over halfway between the two marks on the dipstick. What the hell is going on here!

To make it worse, on the highway Jared pulled right away from me with his stock A6...

I think in your case you mean stock D15B2. :shock:

If you would like to check another pressure switch, I have one laying around. Sure beats replacing it, the local dealer wanted $80 for one!
