Hi everyone, i'm new to the community here (I think it's awesome tho) so I have more of a noobish question. I have a b20z in my crx and I want to put a centrifugal supercharger in it. Does the supercharger have to be engine specific or are they all universal.

I believe any supercharger for a b-series will fit. You may have some clearance issues with the firewall though.

Trying to put that type of supercharger is really hard to put into a crx, the vortec doesn't fit because of the headlight and frame. you have to get a custom shaft so that it clears the headlight. i have only seen one person with that set up and she is having alot of problems because it had to be customed for the crx. i don;t know if a pro charger would fit depends on if you have ac or not

Go turbo, and never look back. So far, every single person i know around here who has a supercharged Honda either doesn't like it anymore, or has already gone turbo, and not regretted it one bit.... and the people i see that DO say that they like it either have JUST put it on, or have never really driven a turbo car... Just my $.02

go here for supercharger info you wont get it here. I have one I like it. I guess I am not up on my B motors but what is a B20z? Anyways there are some guys running the JR on B20s they were from teg kits though (B18). Some b series kit are different because of placement of the MC.

Yeah a Turbo would be great but if you dont have the Smog hookup in CA you SOL. At least the JRSC is CA legal. only CA legal turbo is Greddy which is way over priced. I dont need my Rex to be ungodly fast so a JSRC at 10PSI is fine with me. I have my 3000gt VR4 thats is going to be pushing close to 600AWHP so that will be my other Fun Car
