Thats my guess, I don't remember what we did when we did the same swap on a friend's car. If I remember correctly though, the only wiring change was to swap the distributor, and we used his HF harness.
Hmmm no hf harness.. i need to see what is diffrent between the two.

Well after a long hard look at the si vs hf harness i came up with ....
They are damn near the same the hf has two more plugs which are not used and my problem resulted from me not bolting down the ground lug on the thermostat housing" the one which supply's ground to the resistor pack". OOps.. :(
So keep that in mind both harnesses will work just fine...
