ok............now i have an 85 crx si............the motor is on its last legs but i just dont wanna part with it.......id really prefer to swap it...... now comes the tricky part.........my wallet is a little thin, does any body have any suggestions on which motor i should use to get the most bang for my buck? now the work that i put into it would preferrably be at a minimal, and im not electronically inclined so making an obd0 - obd1 conversion is asking alot.my friend is offering me the motor out of his 98 ex for $500. hes including EVERYTHING! tranny, motor, mounts, ecu, wiring harness,axles.....EVERYTHING! would that not be worth the work on not? any opinions and/or feedback is greatly appreciated.
That won't bolt in. Your best bet is to find a first gen integra D16A1 motor, they are really cheap. We picked one up for the teg with the tranny and manual swap for 100 bucks. Check on g1teg.org, see what's for sale in your area.
