Fuel Filters on the firewall on the left side. If you cant find it, just follow the fuel line from your fuel rail and it will be the first thing it connects to.

The square thing is the tranny drain bolt. just use a socket wrench with no socket to get it off. Maybe a breaker bar. I know mine was tight. the filler bolt is above it and to the left.

I believe the bitch pin connects the shift linkage to the tranny.

1. Tiersin said it, you want the small bolt inside/on top of the larger one on the driver's side of the car.

2. use a screwdriver or punch and a hammer to get the tab straight, then use a long breaker bar to break the nut out. It's easiest with the car on the ground.

3. the bitch pin holds the shift rod (connected to the actual shifter) to the tranny, it's under a rubber accordian boot thing. You need to remove a clip around the shaft and then use an 8mm drift punch. I find it easier to remove that rod with the tranny/motor and take it off when the motor is out, just be careful not to bend it

4. yep, the square one. if the car is secure and you can get under there, try kicking it loose, it gets stuck easily.

You shouldn't have to bend back the axle nut's lock tab if you use an impact wrench. I used a 1/2" drive impact, and that nut was off in seconds.
My usual impact wrench wasnt strong enough so I used "supercharged" one my buddy has. He changed the valves or something in it. It came off in a sec then.

To get the speedo off (sorry no pics...):
First take the cable out of the white clip on the rear mount. Now pull back the boot as far as you can, you might want to hit it with degreaser if it's messy. Now feel down around it and you will feel a clip in a notch, it's sort of U-shaped with circular ends. You want to pull it out, and put it somewhere safe. Now just give the cable a pull and it should come out. DO NOT USE PLIERS. I did that once and the crimped end of the cable held the spring inner in place, and when the car started moving it shredded the inner cable.

for 16, get a breaker bar. If the exhaust bolts are rusted and rounding off, you may have to cut them, or use a slightly smaller socket and hammer it on

20-24 you will have no prob doing once you get the axle nut off. sometimes the ball joints can be a pain in the ass, you might get stuck there. I like to use Heu's method of separating them:

Ghettofabulous way to separate the lower balljoint: Turn the wheel all the way to the inside of the car, left or right depending on which side you're working on. Lock the steering. Get a short old or junk 3/8 extension and attach it to a medium length 3/8 extension. Insert the assembly in between the knuckle and the LCA in the direction of back to front of car. The assembly will protrude outward at an angle and hold itself in place. Get a sledge and whaaaaack (swinging in the direction of back to front of car) Works everytime for me and doesn't ever rip the boot or damage the joint like a pickle fork would. Stay tuned for more ghettofabulous shade tree techniques. LOL

btw- A half inch impact with a swivel 17mm will make problems with balljoints a thing of the past.

well, mistakes happen. Remember, PMing is ok, but if you post it, other people with the same types of problems can get a refrence.
Exactly, that's the point of the community, learn from other people's experiences and mistakes.

Fortunately I never make mistakes.
