TB squeaks when im cruising down the road. If i get in on it hard or just let off the gas, it stops. Dont know what would cause this. Any ideas.

I had this problem. Adjust the idle screw at the top of the TB. Its a little bronze one. Open it up a bit, you may have a little higher idle(not much) but the squeek should go away.

it the larger brass colored one. Its a flathead design facing the passenger side if the car on the top.

I guess it would help to know what engine your talking about too.

mine gives a little whistle when I hit the gas. Is this the same thing? I thought it was my cheap cone filter, but I removed the entire intake, ran it, and it still whistles

yea, thats it, what happens is that when you open that screw, it changes the shape of the tunnel that lets air by, when you open throttle, a certain amount of air gets let through this opening. when the opening is just right, it passes over it just like a whistle making the noise. this is solved simply by changing the diamater and shape of the opening. Its just faulty engineering, not that anyone could have figured that out on the design board. glad to see its not just me who had the problem. It drove me nuts.
