first off i wonna say very nice site. good to see a nice crx forum up other then crxsi.com that i dont care for and dont care to sign up at. well i read all the rules for this site and seriously u have got to be joking. u cant have a small pic uve made in ur sig? with ur car and name that has been photoshoped? never seen that rule anywhere else im a member of alot of forums.. mainly xceedspeed.com which is a michigan based site. i guess i dont see why have a small cut photo with ur car lookin good and ur name or whatever u want in ur sig would be a problem. cause it takes up to much space? not really unless u got *pottymouth* that post huge pics. if thats the case make a size limit. and last of all... no bumping and no ttt in forsale posts. again uve got to be kidding me. for what reason? so its not always there? my opinion thats good thing to bump it. say i post a car for sale right now and no one is interested and it gets barried in the newer sale posts. but there just so happens to be a guy that gets on a couple of days later that would have bought it. well, u didnt sell ur car because of a rule. keep it fresh in my opininon. not like ppl are gonna bump it to the top forever. thats my personal opinion.

The pics in the sig rule... well I didn't even know about it! I understand why though, Tom (crxfisher) is hosting the site for free out of his own pocket, if it costing him more then it's his call. I don't think we need pics in the sigs, but that's my opinion.
As for the bumping, we aren't super high traffic that the posts will be gone in a day or even a week or so. Personally when I'm looking for something I look through the last few weeks of for sale, I think most people do. If you want, to get around it, just add pics every once in a while.

Anyway, welcome again, and introduce yourself in the Lounge, maybe you have some pics of your car?

Not enough traffic yet to justify bumping for sale threads. Bumping clogs up th e thread, making people not want to read it.
You can "update" the thread if it's down to page 2. But that takes days, or atleast a week.

Sgnatures tend to make tipics hard to read. Too many people break even the simplest rules. This makes reading topics annoying, sifting through more colorful, possibly moving, signatures. Looking for 2 lines of text.

Most of us here are a little older than the clowns on clubsi and honda tech.
Maybe we just grew out of that stuff. Who knows.

Look how crappy and pointless HT is when all you see is the word "BUMP" in the FOR SALE threads, of course that board moves a lot faster, but i like the pace of this board, the content and the ppl here.

As for the sigs, when i first signed up for this board i saw that rule, but i really didn't care about having a sig. I really don't need a pic of my car with my name somewhere on it. It just makes the board a whole hell of a lot easier to read.

Yes, a majority of us on this site are a little older, which def is a good thing! We have outgrown and don't need nor want the stupid drama BS that goes on on those "other" sites that are filled with Hondaboi clowns. :lol:

Plenty of websites are run with even more strict rules. This site is pretty relaxed but some things are not needed.

As mentioned, we dont have much classified action going on, so no need to bump anything. Besides when you log in all topics that are new or have new replies are automatically bumped to the top.

Pics is sigs make it hard to read a post, besides its a crx site, I think I know what you drive. If you want to show it off, at the top of the page there is a gallery section where you can post your pics.

Also on the pic topic, this site if free of banner ads, highligted search words ( ie Honda tech ), pics take bandwidth, bandwith takes money, bandwidth brings ads etc..

You can always have a photoshopped avatar with your name and car. Graphic sigs can be nice, but a lot of people tend to abuse the privilage, whether it is size or content, and they take up a lot of space on the page.

i cant even hardly figure out to use honda-tech. that place has there crap everywhere. every other forum i can figure out easy but that place is i just dont understand. i think its one hell of a mess. which is why i never ever go there even though i am signed up.
