Well, after a huge debacle I finally got my new TV in and was able to setup my Home Theater properly.

I figure some of us like video games and stuff, so maybe will enjoy a peek into where I spend all of my free time (especially now that we are converting my bedroom into a lounge, and I sleep in the living room)

This is the cleanest my living room has been....well...ever. I even put up some posters. All I need now is my matador painting (which is frickin sweet!) from my old house in Providence and Ill be good to go.

Also, any comment on the wiring and Ill go crazy, I know its a mess! I just wanted it all to work.

And onto the pictures:

All in all, Im pretty damn impressed with this TV....I went from a large front projection setup, to a CRT HD set, to this, and Im really happy with this.

Anyone want to come over and play some games?

Also, bonus points to the person who cna find the one and only car part in all these pictures, which i think is a first for me.

Also, I was just asked what that thing in the front left corner of the room is, thats the file server.

Sorry, i know you said no comments, but all that wiring exposed and all over the place makes me sick... but nice system! The wiring kills it for me though. Clean up the wiring, and i'm all about it.

I love that remote... mine works awesome!

[edit] You know, you could straighten out that poster and have it level and centered on the wall if you moved it over to the left about a couple inches, and down about a half an inch...

hah thanks robb, the wires, they drive me crazy!

The sub is only visible in one pic, the shot ov everyhting. Its in the front right corner. SVS CS Ultra Cylinder, powered by that Peavey Amp at the bottom of the right rack.

There are 6 amps, 5 Outlaw M200s and the one PV1500.

The speakers are Mirage OM6 (with powered 8" mids), Mirage OM10 in the back, and Mirage OMC2 center channel.

John, yeah man, hanging that giant poster myself was tough....

I know what everyones saying about the wires, Im just afraid of moving again in a bit.....believe you me when im in a permenant spot I will be super anal (like my car), but here.....I just dread doing it. Plus I need to drop some cash on some shorter cables......

If we end up getting snow here/im home from work with nothing to do Ill be more inclined to sit down and really do the wiring correct.

I really need to rebuild my fileserver, and upgrade that computer to vista, and calibrate my tv, and and and and

freaking nice set up........but personally I dont like TV's too big.......maybe just because I'm so used to my 27" but I usually just can't play 360 on anything more than 30-40 inches......and it's nice to see that someone has more wires hanging in one room than mine haha

if you've got xboxlive you should add me and we can chainsaw some bitches on Gears of war haha......or if PGR3 is more you thing i like that too haha its JKG08 too.....dumb name but ohwell......I use it for everything

You should watch "Crank" the movie on that setup hehe...
I watched it on my projector awhile back and it was pretty good, Would have to be killer on that setup.

Ive got Crank, Ill have to watch it again. Ive really only been watching my small collection of HDDVDs, but soon Ill have to branch out.

Yeah im on XBL as mattminerDOTcom...I only have 2 games so far, but my roomate has 5. Combined we have Burnout, Blitz, PGR3, Gears of War, Lego Star Wars II, Lost Planet, and some other military game.

Ha, good battery Ive used it to jump my car a bunch....that was kinda creepy for someone whod idnt know my car = your old car though.

I used to play my video games on my 6'x'8' Front Proection setup (bout 120" for 4:3 content, 90ish for 16:9), so this seems small to me. 1080p is amazing though, my roomate has a 56" 720p DLP by Toshiba and mine is defintely a step above.

Mark, that orange recliner has a matching yellow one. Bought in 1971, reciept stapled ot the bottom.

killer setup, I'm still rocking a five year old sony wega, definately need to upgrade. I'm on Live as Ragnaarok. Gears of War is my current favorite game. Shotgun plus Boomshot FTW.
