hey its me again. like i said before i recked my 89 Si and now i have an 88 HF. its really really slow but i dont want to swap the engine because it only has 130k and it runs perfect. so what i was thinking, could i swap the Si or ZC tranny to my HF to make it quicker?

yes you can do that, but make sure you get a clutch that matches the year of the tranny, also you will have to use dx/si hubs, because your hf ones are too small for the dx/si axles

i assume you are talking about cost right? Well if so, if you still have that si, use your tranny, axles, clutch, and hubs, and it wont cost you anything but time, but if you have to go out and buy everything from junkyards etc. all those parts in my area, would be a few hundred dollars

now i know it could be done but is it a good idea?? since the engine cant rev past fivehundred rpm and all. any feed back would be great
