Jonny_Black put some new wheels on Tweak finally! He came into the shop the other day, and we got some pics of her... I wish it was more overcast, but ah well, whattya gunna do?

And now, for what i think might look even cooler with the wheels...

It'd be a pain to do now that the wheels are done, but i think Jon is wanting to have a satin clear sprayed over them anyway...

That's... interesting. Are those 15's or 16's? I love the wheel design but the color seems off. Maybe It's because I've never seen odd colored wheels on a black CRX. Do you know the name of that color?

I think the black lip would make it look really hot.

I told the paint guy..whom I knew was a wheel guy back in the day, what I was going for had him look up this wheel, and he told me to come pick out the color..this is what I picked...the totally wrong color. as you can see a big difference. I didn't have a pic of the wheel when I went down there..otherwise I might have made a better match....but ohwell.

they are 16's I missed my old 16's, and wanted some new ones, and the new falken RT-615's is a killer tire. Still trying to get used to all the traction. hehe

I dont know the name. of the color....if I was to make up one for ya though...call it bronze dissappointment. lol

I always liked this car on the black wheels it used to have. My black car has bronze slips and I want to paint them black...sometimes. I can't decide...I wish mine were darker bronze (they are standard Rota bronze, not sport bronze)...maybe I just need to start being a wheel whore so I can put on whatever I feel like.

The rims look awesome, but I'm not feeling that color at all. If they were all black, or a grey/silver shade, they'd be much better.

Yea, its definitely a love-hate scenario with this wheel color... either you love it, or you hate it. I don't think they are bad looking in person, but i would like to see them a bit darker, and with more bronze color than orange, but at this point, its all about what that'll cost to get done above and beyond what they have already cost to be done.

It reminds me of the color i custom made for 'Project Turtle'... in the sun, that color looked a shade of orange, but in the shade, it looked deep red. Very neat and 'exciting' color. This color is just like that, but with different colors, and it reacts differently with the sun since his is metallic-based, rather than pearl like my color is/was.

Ok, so now the next vote.... Should Jonny paint the whole car that color, and then have the wheels repainted black? I personally think that would look great... maybe i'll photoshop that tomorrow

Not horrible looking. They look ok, i just don't think it is a good combo.

Color doesn't really go with anything on the car and i am not real crazy about the wheel design, just not something i would choose.

The black lip is a creative idea though.
