Hey folks,

I haven't been keeping up with the ongoings here much lately becasue work has been keeping me busy.
But I've recently realized that i should be collecting any and all UKDM parts that I might want for mine (and my friends') crxs while I am over here.
So on that note, what should I get?
Here's what i've got in mind so far:

VT gauge cluster
VT rear spoiler
16V rear spoiler
Power window switches (which i will attempt to modify to fit LHD)
Power mirror parts
Headlights (can someone tell me if 16V and VT headlights are the same size/shape, and if either/both are single lamp units?)
Rear seat with belts and mounting parts
Fender side indicators
VT/SiR front bumper conversion...

Can anyone add to the list? Or add information?

Are you looking to make money or break even? I'd love some power window switches if the price isn't way high like some people. Do you plan on bringing some parts back to the US or ship direct from uk? (small misc parts)

UKDM parts are RHD.

Power windows, headlights, mirrors, foglights, are all unusable.

16V headlights are the same as USDM, VT headlights are the same as the SiR. I think in the UK they should all be single-bulb glass H4 designs.

You could maybe sell some RHD center consoles on ebay, if you say they're JDM>

i wouldn't mind making a bit of money for my time spent. But in the end so long as I'm not losing any moeny I'll see what i can do. I'm not coming back for another year, so I'm sure I'll be shipping some and carrying others, based on size.

Headlights, be my understanding, the lens glass has ridges per say that make the light shine brighter to one side or the other, depanding on what side the driver sits on.

I would love the JDM seats that have the CRX stitched in. Non leather ones would be great.

My plan is to get my hands on a set of window switches and see if I can't do a decently good looking mod to mirror them to opposite sides. However I don't see how headlights and mirrors are handed.

On the window switches, you;ll end up with upside-down switches, and re-pinning them to work the other way around. The auto-down function will become auto-up.
You could take off the lettering, and use model-decals to make new words. But that would be a painstaking project.

The headlights you can give up on. The glass lenses themselves are cut only to be used as RHD headlights. Adjusting them won't do anything to solve this.

The mirror electronic mechanisms on the RHD and LHD mirrors are different. The non-folding mirrors can be converted. Be it a job requiring fabricating skills. To convert RHD folding mirrors to LHD you will need to sacrifice a set of LHD power mirrors, because of fundamental differences in design.

I would go to a honda dealer to the part department and see if there is any accessories that can still be ordered. Stuff like armrests, floor mats, foglights, etc. I guarentee you could make a good bit of money off of them. Let us know what you can find. Later,

Here's what I'll do for parts. I'll make a list of desireable parts that people would want back in the US. I'll collect as many of these parts as I can and then see what shipping costs are individually from here to a US location, versus bulk to my house back in cali and then domestic shipping from there. To cut down on costs I may see if i can get my company to pay for shipping my "personal belongings" back to the states.

Anyway, for now I'll look into buying:

VT gauge clusters
VT rear spoilers
16V rear spoilers
some window switches (if it seems they can be modified and still look good)
rear seats, belts, etc

Other items:
center console (I dont see why anyone in the states would want this?)
seats (seem too heavy and bulky for shipping but if people want to pay...)

Anything else I should keep an eye out for?

Really what I'd like to do, is just buy a VT, or SiR for myself, and import it back into the states. However it seems like that is a very difficult thing to do.
