i have a b18a1 swapped crx and found it easier to just get rid of the metal lines bolted to the back of the manifold..
the vaccum lines can rlly go anywhere you want them to go..i will try to get a pic. up of my routing though if you would like,

my b18 didnt even come with metal lines, all i did was make sure everything was connected. im sure its not the way honda would have done it, but it runs fine. ill be re-doing for the most part following the pics sometime soon tho

well heres the deal... i am running a p06 ecu that is chipped with a ls base map. it is also obd1 converted the o2, dizzy, injectors, and ecu. it also has low comp pistons and a fresh bottom end. it idles a little rough its not real bad though i dunno if it just seems rough becouse of the mounts i have or what. but when you go from idle to full throttle it backfires through the intake n my first thought was timing but i have redone and rechecked the timing like 12 times and all the wiring the only thing i can figure is a vaccume problem im so lost on this issue plz help and it would be awesome if you could post ur pick of your routing plz thanks guyz....oh by the way im new to the site im also on ohiohondas, and honda-tech,

your running low compression pistons in an N/A motor???
i dont think the vacuum routing would cause backfiring issues like that..
check your firing order and recheck your timing..also try to do ignition timing...
