What is the trick to these things. I managed to get the exhause side off in just under an hour of prying. I cant even get one on the other side. The manual simply says "remove valve seals" and dosnt tell you how. Is there a trick to it, or i it all in working them?

I remember reading something about having to heat the head to a certain temperature in the oven. My recolection is foggy but try reasearching that... or call a machine shop and ask nicely how they do it.

Good luck, I'm contracting out my head work.

out of frustration, I found a decent way. If you have a dremmel, you can simply cut away the side of them and they pop off really easily. Just future reference if anyone need to do this anytime soon. It took a good hour+ for the exhaust side, and once I learned this trick, to no more then 5 minutes fo the intake side. Anyway, just FYI.
