Is there a certain part of the engine that I could take a picture of that someone here would be able to verify what engine it is? It should be stock, but I do not know....

yes, there is a boss on the front left of the block (looking at the block fron in front of the car). It is just below the head and next to the where the transmission housing bolts to the block. Its a flat area about an inch by an inch and a half. Its probably dirty so get some simple green and an old sponge or rag and clean it off. it will tell ou engine code right on there.

If you have a stock engine it will say D16A6, where this picture says B16A.
