I'm going to be buying a bike (hopefully soon), and I'm trying to decide between these colors. I keep going back and forth. What do you guys think looks better? The red on white? Or the black on red?

I like Red/Black. Looks meaner.
silver and red, or silver and black...i got stuck with yellow and black...
I actually prefer the red on white. Back when I purchased my bike back in 03 I was actually looking at a F4i that was red on white at a dealership. It was left over stock so they had it at a very good price.

After talking to them a bit the red on white didn't sell as well as the other colors. I already liked the color before they told me that, but knowing that the color was less popular than the other colors pretty much closed the deal for me. But I just couldn't pass on a offer from a guy who badly needed some money for his 98 FZR600R.

What? You don't like the yellow/black? That is my 3rd choice. I'd be happy with that color scheme.
Red/Black. The red shows the contours of the bike much better. Makes the biker look sexy, more so than the white one.
Altho I'm extremely biased towards black, I don't think the red/black combo looks good.

Can't you get a damaged one and have it painted completely black?

Yeah, you CAN. But I love the stock look on a bike. If it's in perfect condition with the original paint, it means it's never been down, and the previous owner(s) took great care of it. And I love RED! I'm actually leaning more toward the white/red combo because it's a lot more rare. Plus, studies have shown that motorcycles in white are easier to see on the road in all lighting conditions. But like I said, I keep going back and forth.
I voted white and red. Seems like every bike I see around is black and red or blue, so something different seems like a good idea.
go white/red. makes the bike look "cleaner" in my opinion, plus it's more rare of a color, easier to see, and you'll not have a black/---- combo color like more than half the bikes I see. but most importantly, make sure you get one (don't get talked out of it or anything) :)

i guess the only thing good about the yellow is that it ISNT Y-49...
The red/black is something I imagine a younger/wilder person riding, while I can better picture a family-oriented mid-30's guy driving the white/red one as a weekend toy.

Anyone else with me here, or am I just a weirdo??
Red/Black.....sweet

Welp, red/white sounds like it fits me. ;)
I suppose Pink/Yellow is out of the question....probably a good thing.

I was thinking the same thing. My friends all have bright colored bikes (reds, blacks, K green, ect) while my dad's friends all ride white, green, blue, ok, and one has a red one.
