Hey guys I'm new here and to CRX's..... I'm heading down to the track next weekend and I was just wondering how you guys think I'll fair in comparison to how my friends car's will do.

My first friend has a 2001 Chevy Cavalier Z24 5 speed, stock, and my other friend has a 93 Civic Si 5 speed with a cat-back exhaust.

My CRX has a stock body with D15B2 in good condition with 190,000km on it (118,000 miles). I have an intake, header, high flow cat, 2.25" piping, Ractive exhaust, Si transmission, B&M short shifter, MSD 8.5mm wires and NGK plugs.

What should I expect for times providing I shift well, and what do you think my friends will run?

The Cavvy will probably be a bit quicker than the Hondas, I think you and the civic will run low 16s if it's your first time out.

Despite the Si gearing and the freer breathing, I wouldn't expect a D15B2 to reach low 16's. If it has an MPFI swap, maybe. A stock Dx is almost 18 seconds.

Expect nothing. A lot of variables to consider.
No way of really knowing until you go, drive it and have fun.
