no one wants to throw me some numbers? lol
I haven't got a clue, man. That's a nice swap you have in there. Along with all the other upgrades you'd probably be able to get a couple thousand over the book value. You can never get back the money you put into it.

i know that all too well. the general concensus from honda-tech is in the 5k range. thats about what i was thinking. im not looking to sell just yet though, just looking to get it priced. if i still have it in a year, it will get more suspension work, more brake work, jdm front end, all rust and dents fixed, and then repainted red, but not paint the trim or anything. probably get all new trim from honda or something too. those are my plans for now and i know it'll be at least a year before i can make it all a reality. and THEN it will be time to rebuild the engine and build for all motor power! again only IF i still have the car and WAY down the road, lol.
If you enjoy the car, and you have lots of plans for it, don't even worry about the re-sale value of the car. I have a feeling that this car has way more sentimental value to you than any price tag could ever justify. If you intend on keeping it, I would be more worried about the insurance value of the car. ie: the cost of replacing everything that you have put into it.
DON'T SELL IT!

You have a really nice CRX, I'm jealous  . Stick with it man, you already have more than a great car so far.

If you MUST sell it, PM me. 8)
lol, im not selling just yet guys. ill probably end up keeping it, i just wanted to guage my price.

sticker you are right that the car does have a lot of sentimental value to me. if it didnt i wouldnt have wasted the past year and a half to rebuild it from being stolen. that was a huge blow for me but i pressed on. and honestly, the ONLY reason i stayed with it was because they left the engine and suspension and brakes. (even though ive pretty much replaced the entire suspension since then lol)

and yea i know about insurance stuff. i have theft insurance on my crx now but i bet its only for the blue book of the car and wont cover everything ive done. not to mention i dont exactly have recipts for everything to prove they are on the car. but thats why i have taken extreme measures in doing everything in my power to keep it from being stolen again. ie kill switch and sabotaging it so theres no way it will start. theres pretty much no way to stop a tow away theft though :( and i have no garage

Keep us posted if you do decide to sell! If the car is truly your baby, don't make the mistake I did by selling it. I'm still looking for another one, but priorities are that I HAVE to build a new garage. Ours is so dilapidated it needs torn down.

my car was stolen, and recovered by me withing a few hours. i have theft on the insurance, and since everything was found, it was basically used to be put back together and get a few dings off. insurance doesn't like to cover aftermarket, even though sometimes it's less expensive that what oem is, (look at the oem price of a teardrop wheel-ha!)
anyway, you can always get your car appraised, which most insurance companies accept. i'm sure there will be a added cost and as to how much-i don't know.
one of the questions my adjuster or the agent handling my claim asked me was what i thought the car was worth. i let him know that, it's blue book value, given the condition it was in, (i gave him dealer retail directly from kbb and edmunds) was a certain amount-then I let him know that STREET value was a little more (estimating a little high of course). i gave him figures of what a vehicle like mine would sell locally and on the web, such as ebay. i also told him offers that i received recently (not for sale, but people leave notes on my windshield all the time)

was there a point to all that? maybe i missed it. im not trying to be an a$$ but im confused as to what you are trying to say...
I think he just meant that you can get it appraised to get an accurate estimate on how much your car is really worth.
yea they will lowball the crap out of me. those people have no idea what these cars are worth to the crx crowd.
