I'm sure it could be done, but I don't know how well it would work. If you want to get more power, start with an MPFI swap to get rid of that restrictive DPFI intake, and then you'll be able to manage a mild turbo setup much easier.
also, i don't think you're going to be able to increase your gas mileage with a turbo. if that's your goal, we can talk some other options for your 88.
