Hey guys,

I'm chasing some tail lights (altezza) for my del sol and they're pretty cheap over there compared to here.

my folks are heading to LA next month and iwas wondering if any of you knew of actual stores that sell this kind of stuff. id like them to get them so i save on postage etc. i could get the sent (from ebay) to my cousins place, but want to know my options first. i know postage to Aus would be ridiculous.

anyone from LA that could shed some light? hehe get it? :?
Also, if anyone knows a rough price on them (store bought) thatd be sweet.

If I may...and please take this with a grain of salt.
I'm not busting on you for what you want to put on your Sol,but IMO most "altezza" lamp housings are made VERY cheap and almost always leak.
I say try a nice set of usdm taillamps(heck I'll even trade you for your jdm/adm if theres any difference.I have a 95 Sol with USDM taillights.) so that you don't fall victim to the "altezza's".

If you MUST have a set of altezza's then at the very least silicone the bejeeburs outta them so you don't end up with water in them a month later.Trust me on this one.I bought a cheap set of clear corners that leaked like 3 weeks after purchasing them! I will never do cheap lamps again..

Also if you get the Altezzas, keep your stock lights, it may save you trouble down the road.

yeh i keep original everything. the only thing i dont have is the original gear knob cos the lady who owned it before me lost it :S

I'll have to snap some pics of mine.
Basically yours(jdm/edm) have no side reflector and the USDM one does.
If you want to trade outright,I'm willing to do that.
I think mine are clean and no cracks,but let me make sure as I don't want to be made a liar.

I gotta admit that I like my ass end red. If you don't want red anymore then of the choices you have I'd go black.
