There seems to be a lot of room for a small amp on the floor right behind the radio, up next to the firewall.

Is there anything wrong with this location, it seems like it would save on running wires all over the car.

i tried to put my amp down there but it stuck out and looked funny, and i couldnt ever get it to mount right, so i moved it to the back.

I've had a little amp back there for years, just stuck down with two huge strips of velcro. It's just stuck to the carpet there behind the console.
