Which Block would you use?​

Ok, I am getting a Z6 head, with a P28. I'm looking at dropping in ZC or A1 pistons.

I have a D15 and D16A6 block. Should I use the D16 because it is supposed to be stronger, and the extra 100ccs of displacement? Or should I build up the D15 block, because 100ccs won't really yield that much more torque, and there is a better rod/stroke angle?

This will be an NA motor, and have a cam added at most at a later date.

I say go with the D16, the better r/s ratio of the D15 won't matter unless you're trying to rev higher than 7500 or so.

D16 hands down. Stroke equals torque.
