A while ago I was watching THIS (link) documentary.

I've been having some fierce arguments with several people about violence, use of force and weapons. This might be very insightful.
...or atleast piss them off and prove my point.

However, I've not been able to find a download anywhere. And discovery channel here doesn't do as much re-runs as it does there. Someone have it on TIVO or something?

I emailed the folks at discovery a while back...but no response.

I'm not sure what you are asking? Is it a show on discovery?

As for my willingness to kill I would have no problem killing another person in a war. I would actually love to have the chance to kill a criminal and get away with it legally like self defense. I sleep with a loaded glock 17 under my pillow for this reason. Some people are sheep and it would bother them to know they had killed someone or something. Not me, it's not like your killing a person you know well, or anything. I could even kill someone who I knew, and knew their family if I didn't like them. I can think of a number of people I wouldn't mind decapitating, and would have no remorse for doing it. I would never do any of this illegally, if I could legally kill people I would kill as many as possible. Especially if they happen to have a Black Widow 2 Wide body CRX.

Try slaughtering a pig first. Then comment on killing a human being.
I don't think it's all that cracked up to be like in the movies.. I saw a guy get shot and bleed out on the street. Didn't look like the way I'd want to go. Not much glory involved.

Anyway, yes, I was looking for a recorded version of that documentary to show to my friends.

Ok I'll see what I can do I get several discovery channels, and I have Tivo. As for killing . I kill stuff all the time. I spent all morning trying to find a deer to kill. Tomorrow I'm playing paintball, as I like to freshen up my tactical human hunting skills as much as I can. I remember the first large animal I killed. I was about 14 and I killed my first deer. At first I'll admit it felt kinda iffy, then as it's eyes shut, I realized I killed it. I shot it in the spine paralyzing it. It fell like a sack of potatoes, but still alive trying to get away. So I had to shoot it in the neck and finish it off. My bullets made him cease to exist. It was a very empowering feeling, and it made me feel good. From that point on life kinda had a different meaning to me. Everyone, and everything will eventually die. One day everyone I know will be dead, and so will I. Big freaking deal. It's not like people just started dying yesterday. It's been like this for quite some time. If you kill them or someone else does it really doesn't matter. It will happen sooner or later.

hmm...I very much prefer not to get killed by some other man's hand.
That said, I would do just about anything to stop that from happening. Even if it means ending his life in the process.

Apart from that, I have absolutely no desire to kill anything, unless if I were to eat it.

I realise that hunting is a sport there. That doesn't mean I agree to -needlessly- killing anything or anybody. I feel people in general are much too casual about life in the big picture.

Now I know to steer clear of Ohio...
And bordering states.
So you guys aren't coming to my meet?

Really it isn't that I have no regard for life. It's just that it's hyped up way too much. I feel what happened on 911 was atrocious, and lots good people died for no reason and were robbed of their life. Good people dying is not cool, but when it comes thieves, murderers, rapists, people fighting against my country in a war. I would have no problem killing the opposition in the blink of an eye. Killing animals is fun, but I would really love to be a vigilante, or a mercenary. **** is too dangerous and doesn't pay enough though.

BTW I welcome anyone from this forum at my house anyday. Just be forewarned if you steal from me bad things might happen.

But we're still cool when you're looking at the tail of my H22 CRX right?
Not that that would ever happen. IF it did, we would be cool. Except the only way that would ever happen is if you stole one of my coilpacks and I had to race you on 3 cyl. even then it would be close. But if you stole my coilpack I would have to kill you if you didn't return it. So I guess we will never have to worry about any of that ever happening.

Have you looked on the p2p networks?

Also I dont know if they still do it but after a show the discovery channel used to show an ad for ordering a copy of the show. It showed a number to call and place the order.

I cant help with the tivo, I dont have TV....I think it sucks the life out of life.
